The work of the artist is quiet and solitary. The time spent at the studio, in private conversations, in hopeful syntony or even frustrated quarrelling with each painting comes to an end when the painting is finally presented.
At that point, the art takes another dimension, stops being private and becomes accessible to the public, a collective experience.
